What is good news blitz?
Good News Blitz is a monthly ministry outreach to children who live in the inner city of Dayton. The purpose is to evangelize children with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus, and then direct them to a local church to be discipled. It is held in various locations such as apartment, complexes, churches, and community centers.
how is it done?
Local churches adopt a particular community, supplying workers from their congregation, along with CEF® workers, prayer partners, refreshments, etc.
Meet as a team on the day of the Blitz at a designated location to pray and go out into the neighborhood to invite children once more.
The program is approximately 2.5 hours long and includes a Bible lesson, fun games, and other special features… all focused on the Gospel.
A packet of goodies is given to each child to take home, which always includes a Gospel tract.
An invitation to receive Christ is given at the conclusion of every Good News Blitz. Guidance is provided for the children who respond to the invitation.
The Blitz Ministry runs once a month from May through December
